cont'd: annual cheering competition

okay people, formation and cheer sequence are up now! memorise these formations, watchu gonna do on the stage, and of course, the cheers specially done by some of your classmates. so here it goes, :)

Cheerleaders (CL) are Gigi, Mariana, Sherye & Fana.
Drummers (D) are Hafiz, Benjamin, Xin An, Hannan & Zhi Wei.

FORMATIONS

1) everyone will enter the stage silently via both sides of the hall, faces down. your positions will look like this:

2) in positions, everyone heads up & shout
"HA!" with a fiery look. then, "Let's bring the hall down! BEAT IT!"

3) drummers will start beating the rhythm, while US & CL will clap our hands according to the beat. US will quickly form 2 groups.

4) when drummers beat a hard & heavy BOOM! for their ending, they will join beside US. after which, all of us immediately start our remixed class cheer. CL will forward a step.

Remixed class cheer:
"I say you say we say ooh
We are 02 we are cool
40 people work as one
SUPERMAN!, that's what we are
Oooooh, ooooh. "
please note this remixed class cheer okok.

6) Mariana:
"STOP! Let's bring it back old school!"

7) everyone will automatically start the original class cheer.
"I say you say we say ooh
We are 02 we are cool

Meet obstacles but fear none
Overcome it if we want

That's because we're 202!"

8) everyone to do the WB sound effect while getting together again to form this:

10) Mariana:

12) everyone to spread into personal space. drummers take drums and get ready in front of CL.

13) everyone:
"The 5 school values of our school! Sayyyy, TRILS!"

14) *pause*

15) everyone:
"CAUSE IT'S THRILLERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

16) drummers will give the beat according to the Thriller soundtrack. US & CL will do the Mj dance as shown in the video (by Maria & Gigi that oneeeee :B)

17) as you've seen in the video, US & CL would be facing your backs to judges & audience at the end for the dance. so after abt 4 steps, quickly turn around and form a neat 1 group again WHILE SHOUTING RAAAAAAWR!

18) the final exit, we'll decide tmr with the whole class. hee.

I know it's a tad too complicated. scan & read it well. it's kinda easy actually. practice on your own tonight, then we'll rehearse together tmr in school.

Things to bring:
1) House tee
2) black or dark blue jeans, up till the ankle.
no 3/4, no knee-length pants. full length jeans okok!
3) extra $2 for gloves. for those we have their own gloves, bring them (can save your $2 heh)
4) extra $1 for caps. Zhi wei's mum has prepared caps FOR THE WHOLE CLASS, so please bring your own money for them

[unfortunately, the class fund vanished, or smth like that. we apologise for the inconvenience caused. but PLEASE do show us your enthusiasm & support :D]

since school will end at 1300hr, quickly grab your lunch by 1330hr. you have only 30min. time is limited, we have ALOT of things to do in our 2hrs. showdown's at 1530hr.

Things to do:
1) shift tables & chairs
2) cheerleaders to give a briefing to everyone
3) familiarize with cheer sequence
4) practice a few times for the cheer & formation
5) face paint
6) class talk :D
7) final preparations for cheering comp.

last but not least, remember to

The cheering comp is coming really soon.
So please don't waste everyone's effort to make it for today's practice and make this a successful one! xD
Even if we don't win, we'll lose beautifully, knowing that we've already done our part. :D

Okay.
Just a few more notices.

1) On Monday, we are going to have lunch together so that everyone can rush everyone and we can rehearse until we're really done. :D
It has been decided so please follow it.

2) Those who has white gloves, please bring yours. (Those who don't, see notice 3)

3) Please bring $2 because we're out of class fund and we need to buy the gloves. (:
